Sandpoint, Idaho is a winter wonderland with it's fair share of snow fall, and along with snow comes all the great winter activities that we all enjoy and love. One of these great family oriented activities is sledding of course and Sandpoint has some awesome close places to go! The main place to enjoy sledding in Sandpoint would be Schweitzer Mountain, but there are some places around town to take the family to.

HERMITS HOLLOW TUBING CENTER

Two Lanes, 100 Yards, Endless Fun

Our tubing park has 2 lanes of sliding fun that stretch over 100 yards! Slide on down then sit back and relax as you get pulled back up to the top! Tubing day sessions last 1.5 hours (nights sessions last 2.5 hours) and all tubers must be at least 42" tall to participate. If you have any questions please call the Activity Center at 208.255.3081.

Tickets must be pre-purchased (online or by phone) for all tubing times as we often sell out! Please note, If you have purchased tickets online, you can proceed directly to the tubing hill with your printed tickets for redemption. You do not need to stop in at the Activity Center or anywhere else. You can sign your releases at the Hermit’s Hollow yurt.​

Restrictions:
Must be at least 42” tall to tube
Children 12 & under should be accompanied by an adult
Soft boots only (no ski boots)

Pine Street Hill

This hill used to be the original ski hill a long time ago and has a pretty steep slope, but very fun! The land it's on is private, but the owner allows people to sled there at their own risk.

Priest River has a local sledding area off of Hwy 2 and Hwy 57

Clark Fork Sledding Area

Clark Fork, ID.

Clark Fork locals take their family and friends sledding at a place on the North side of the pond, in their ball park.
