Te Ata
Free Film presented by the Bonner County Human Rights Taskforce.

Te Ata (TAY’ AH-TAH) is based on the inspiring, true story of Mary Thompson Fisher, a woman who traversed cultural barriers to become one of the greatest First American performers of all time. Born in Indian Territory, and raised on the songs and stories of her Chickasaw culture, Te Ata’s journey to find her true calling led her through isolation, discovery, love and a stage career that culminated in performances for a United States president, European royalty and audiences across the world. Yet of all the stories she shared, none are more inspiring than her own.

Theater capacity is currently limited to 225 guests per show. Advance tickets are recommended, but not required. The Panida Theater strongly encourages all guests to wear a mask, regardless of vaccine status, while enjoying performances.

The novel coronavirus SARS- CoV-2 and any resulting disease (together with any mutation, adaptation, or variation thereof, "COVID-19" ) is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, and there is an inherent danger and risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are present; I hereby choose to accept the risk of contracting COVID-19 for myself in order to attend  events at the Panida Theater and enter into the event premises.
