The Festival at Sandpoint welcomes SHAKEY GRAVES to our venue! The Festival will be the first stop of the Shakey Graves Was Here Tour as well as the first performance since Shakey Graves’s release of the “Roll The Bones X” album.
Austin-based singer, songwriter and guitarist, Alejandro Rose-Garcia (aka Shakey Graves) combines blues, folk, country, and rock and roll making for a truly unique sound. Starting out as a one-man-band, Rose-Garcia used foot pedals to keep a beat with tambourines and a drum he made himself. Rose-Garcia recently reissued his hit debut album “Roll The Bones” to celebrate its 10 year anniversary, “Roll The Bones X” in April, 2021. This album features never-before-heard original songs, demos, and deep cuts. Since its release, the album has already reached the US Billboard 200. Other songs and albums have seen similar popularity, with multiple albums ranking in the top 5 on Billboard charts.
TRÉ BURT is a singer-songwriter based in Sacramento, California and the newest signing to Oh Boy Records. His album, Caught it From the Rye showcases Burt's literary songwriting and lo-fi, rootsy aesthetic, which he honed busking on the streets of San Francisco and traveling the world in search of inspiration. Like his label mate and songwriting hero John Prine, Burt has a poet's eye for detail, a surgeon's sense of narrative precision and a folk singer's natural knack for a timeless melody. Caught It From the Rye is an urgent missive from an important new voice in songwriting.
