When Renee was my mail carrier I always got packages too large for the box delivered to my door. Now the mail carrier apparently is too impaired to walk to my door. Today I had one package dumped on the ground near my garage and another notice placed in the box that I had to come pick it up at the PO because there was no secure place to leave it. Apparently dumping on the ground was secure enough. Neither were delivered properly -- to my door. I hate to set foot in that PO because it's filthy as one of the other reviewers noted.

I realize the United States postal service has approximately $343 million people which sends postal. But when you live in a small town and you can't even get a hold of your post office and then the town next to you you can't get a hold of their post office and you dial their 1-800 number and nobody ever answers what a crappy business and the federal government is to blame for it! When my mom and dad live only an hour and a half drive away from me and it takes over a week for them to send a letter to me that's crappy service. I have had more packages get lost with the postal service than any other service

I have great respect and appreciation for the men and women of the United States Postal Service. I cannot comprehend how, having visted other post offices throughout the area, that the Sandpoint Post Office has fallen into such disrepair and uncleanliness. The lobby light fixtures are filled with months accumulation of bugs and the acoutical tiles are covered in spider webs. The floor mats are way past cleaning. Regardless of whoever and for whatever reason, the Sandpoint Post Office deserves to be the gem of the downtown public buildings and not an eyesore. Respectfully, VJK

Used to be good....Now the people they hire to deliver the mail and packages don't do their job and just leave you hanging without leaving any communication......They are basically worthless and don't care if your package contents get ruined because they just don't feel like delivering it....Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this crap a federal offence ? 2 times in one week is enough for me to realize that they hire typical Idaho employees....They never learned about punctuality or work integrity.....Every employer has them,,,,The people who don't do any work but never get fired....This area is full of them....As if that's what they learned from their parents and schools....NO CLASS

Since the first of year 2024, possibly even earlier, more and more of my mail and that of my neighbors is being placed in the wrong mailbox by the local USPS carrier. Several prices of my mail got delivered to my neighbor's second address in California by a mail forwarding service. While this is annoying, the misplaced Mail has eventually arrived at the correct recipient address. Neighbors being good neighbors.

Just picked up a piece of junk mail on the ground 3 feet from y mail box. It could just as well have been something important.

The clerks at the Sandpoint Post Office are so helpful, patient and informative....It is such a wonderful community feeling to post letters and packages here!
