High above the Green Monarchs and looking southwest over Lake Pend Oreille. In the background is Bayview to the right and Buttonhook Bay to the left. This is the southern most point of Pend Oreille and is partially located in Kootenai County. The road on the left side of this photograph is the High Drive, which provides access to thousand and thousands of backcountry adventures. This is prime huckelberry picking habitat in the summer months.
