Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort, Sandpoint Idaho This is looking at the village at Schweitzer Mountain resort and in the background various trails offered by riding Chair 1, 2 or the high speed Quad. The elevation at the top is just under 7000 feet. Chair 4 allows one to access the Colburn side of the mountain and numerous chairlifts and trails. Schweitzer is only a 20 minute ride from downtown Sandpoint, and has spectacular views of the valley and of Lake Pend Oreille.
