"The old Cocolalla School is still
standing and being used as a community hall.
It was built in 1908 and was used for
classes until 1953. This building was saved
from destruction by a group of women who
converted it to a community hall. Children
of the area would arrive for school by foot,
horse, or horse and wagon." |
