Investigators are still trying to figure what caused the former Shed Restaurant on Division Street to go up in flames. The blaze started around 5:30 Friday morning and threatened other buildings nearby. The roof of the Central Baptist Church’s gym, about a block away from the Shed, was ignited by blowing embers. However, firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames thanks to the keen eye of a bystander, who noticed the flames on the church room, and ran to get help. Church members spent most of Friday mopping up and getting the building ready for their services tomorrow.
