A five member arbitration panel meets this week in Chicago...to come up with a binding contract that will put Kaiser Aluminum workers back on the job.
Both sides tried to hammer out a contract and avoid sending the issue to arbitration, but those talks broke down in Houston last week. That means union members will be on the picket lines for another month, until a decision from the panel is handed down in late September.
