The Sandpoint Fiberarts Guild of Sandpoint, Idaho was formed in 1984 by a small group of local women who wanted contact and interaction with other fiber artists in the Sandpoint area. They discussed what they were looking for, as individuals, from such an organization and proceeded to build the Fiberarts Guild around that core of wishes. From the beginning, a diversity of mediums within fiber work was encouraged at all levels of experience from beginner to professional. Our members weave, spin, hand- and machine-knit, quilt, bead, hand- and machine-stitch, crochet and make rugs, jewelry, felt, baskets, paper, dolls and toys.
